Auto-body Program
Lean to restore cars that have been damaged. Lincoln's Auto body Program gives you the skills to shape, mold, and repair today's cars back into their original state. If you want to create your future using your own hands, Auto body is the field for you. now Lincoln Technical Institute's Auto body Technology Program gives you a comprehensive overview. Get involved with factory UMS frame straightening, PPG painting programs and live vehicle repair. At the end of the program, stay on for the extra "Custom Plus " program. Get a step above the rest!
The Auto body Technology Program is a 78.5 quarter-credit-hour program. It can be completed in 12 moths or 24 months (evening classes). Maximum class size is 40 students at a 20 students per instructor ratio. It is designed to give you the skill-set for a career automobile collision and refinishing repair. This particular Collision Program will allow you to get an entry-level position as collision repair technician, painter, frame technician, or minor mechanical repairer in an auto body repair shop or specialty custom shop.
Some of the Features and Benefits of Baran's (now Lincoln Tech's) Collision and Auto body Program are:
- UMS Factory Program (Universal Measurement System)
- Able to obtain certificate for 75 hours instruction on UMS
- PPG Painting System
- Able to obtain Federal IMACA License while in school
Additionally, you may opt for the "Custom Plus Program which is a 15 month (30 month- evening classes), 96.5 credit hour program.
Automotive Program
In just one year (or 24 months - evenings only) and 87.5 credit hours, you will get the ASE Master Certified Training in this real-world training program. Use real vehicles to troubleshoot and fix the problems that you will face as an Auto Technician. You will be well-prepared for the auto industry with Lincoln Tech's Automotive Technical Training. Lincoln Tech's unique and modern Auto Technology facility will take your training to the next level. Learn engine rebuilding on actual vehicles with no mock ups or simulators. Get the proven training results you need to excel as a Auto Tech in a dealership, repair facility, or transmission shop.

Motorcycle Technology Program
Enter the exciting world of Motorcycle Technology. Learn the inner workings of Motorcycle and small engines, working on all type the these engines. The Motorcycle Mechanics Program consists of 75.5 quarter credit hours to be completed in 12 months (24 month evening classes). With 20 students per instructor, you will get the special attention you deserve to tackle complex problems and repairs. With this Motorcycle Technology Program under your belt, you will be ready for an entry-level position as a motorcycle repairer, a technician to be employed by a repair shop, specialty custom shop, a private fabrication bike shop or various motorcycle manufacturers such as Harley Davidson, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Honda.

- Formal training; no more “backyard” mechanics to meet the industry needs. Diesel Technology Program
If Big-Rigs are your thing, explore the world of Diesel Technology at LTI. Baran Institute of Technology (Now Lincoln Technical Institute) puts a whole new meaning to Hands-On with the schools Diesel Technology Program. Be involved in all aspects of the Diesel Industry. Learn about technology of hydraulics and major overhauls on today's leaders like Cummins, Mack, Detroit and CAT. Work in small groups, 20 students per instructor. This 85.5 quarter credit hour program will get you familiar with every aspect of Diesel from basic theory of diesel technology to hands-on training in the shop. Graduates will be will qualified to work in a dealership, local repair facility, or transmission shop.
